Apricots are an often overlooked Summer fruit. Our old home in Albuquerque had an incredible (and gigantic) apricot tree that had to be 50 years old. It bore the most delicious, sweet apricots I've ever had.. it may be the thing I miss the most about that house. My latest mission has been to find some apricots that are even remotely close to these, and when I do, these will be the 5 things I make with them!

Just a few weeks ago, however, a friend of ours brought over the most fragrant, sweet-smelling onions we had ever had the joy of inhaling! Not sure how to explain the moment... but I assure you, it was a very odd yet riveting bliss. I can't believe I just said that... about onions! So with these incredible onions, I knew I had to do them justice with an equally incredible recipe.
Though beautiful pieces, these sinks are very easily stained and scarred with marks from aluminum, other cast iron, or even stone pans or wares. Tea bags, coffee, bold fruits or vegetables - you name it, they will leave their mark if given the opportunity!
